Walk the Walks – to 15 Sept 2020
Warning: Illegal string offset 'ID' in /homepages/37/d4296507810/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/base/parts/content.php on line 30
Take part in our ‘Walk the Walks’ range of rambles across the summer to keep everyone active and enjoying the great outdoors.
We have a super choice of distances and routes – including ones suitable for wheelchair users and buggies – for you to explore.
You can do just one walk or perhaps challenge yourself to complete all the routes during the summer holidays and up to 15 September.
There are many beautiful routes across our hospice’s North West Surrey region. Walk some old favourites and discover some new ones on your own, with family and friends or your walking group.
You could track your progress and share online with friends and family during your adventures, while raising as much as you can for our hospice.
We suggest you aim to raise at least £50; you could aim to increase that by a further £5 for each route you complete .
You will receive a special hospice medal and a certificate for taking part after 15 September.
About the routes
Our routes range from 1k to 10 miles.
We would like to thank the local individuals and organisations who are so kindly supporting our hospice by giving us permission to link to and use their routes, maps and materials:
Please contact Rachelle on 07843 246 294 or fundraising@wsbhospices.co.uk to register for £10 per adult and £5 per child aged 16 and under.
Please have your debit or credit card ready to make a payment over the phone – we apologise but we are having a temporary problem with our online payment system at present.
You will then be sent information and links to our routes by email.
Useful information
Due to the pandemic ‘Walk the Walks’ is replacing our traditional mass walking events this year. Please note that you undertake these walks in your own time and the hospice is unable to provide marshals or first aid as we do at the Midnight Walk or A Walk to Remember. Please choose a route that meets the fitness levels and capabilities of your group. Please follow Government guidelines as to the size and composition of your walking group which are current on the day of your walk/s. Thank you and enjoy!
