Woking High’s fundraising for the hospice

We are incredibly grateful to Woking High school in Horsell for the donation of £3000 to our hospice.
The children of woking high raised this amazing amount through taking part in a range of fun and educational activities in their homes.
Their online lessons were replaced for a day by a Wower Book of Records initiative. This had students at the school competing against each other in a series of challenges, aiming to achieve the highest ratings.
Years 8 and 10 chose to raise money for Woking & Sam Beare Hospices.
The challenges were in four categories – Building Stuff, Making Stuff, Doing Stuff and Outdoor Stuff.
Including building a house of cards, Lego building, baking, film making, the most spectacular paper throwing, press-ups, nature photography and a catapult challenge.
We are so grateful for the support of all the children, their family members and teachers of Woking High school.
